Regional Soccer Final All-KLAA

KLAA champion Canton and Central Division runner up Northville will face off for the MHSAA Regional Soccer Championship this Friday at Kionka-Gordon Field. The John Glenn and Livonia Churchill soccer teams both put up strong defensive efforts at the John Glenn Soccer Complex yesterday but the Chargers outlasted the Rockets 1-0 to advance to Wednesday’s district semi-final round at Plymouth. Churchill controlled the play for much of the first half but the Rockets defense kept them at bay.
