New Stadium Rules For Varsity Football Games

Four Score In Win Over Skyline

The Rockets varsity football team overcame bad field position with two strong defensive stops in the first quarter and four different players scored touchdowns enroute to a 35-14 win over Ann Arbor Skyline. JV Football Tops Skyline

The JV football team opened their season with a hard fought 14-7 victory over Ann Arbor Skyline on Thursday.  The Rockets had to rebound from a 7-0 deficit, scoring two touchdowns in the second half to gain the win.  The Rockets return to action next week as they travel to Howell High School on Thursday

Freshman Football Kicks Off Season With Big Win

The freshman football team opened the 2014 season with a big win over Ann Arbor Skyline as the returned the opening kickoff and then didn’t look back enroute to a 51-6 victory.  The Rockets scored three touchdowns in the first five minutes of the game and seized control early. The varsity soccer team defeated Redford Union 6-1 on Thursday afternoon pushing their record to 3-0 on the young season.  The Rockets host Livonia Franklin on Tuesday when the varsity will play at 4:00 with the JV game to follow at approximately 5:30 at the John Glenn Soccer Complex.

JV Soccer Tops Railsplitters 7-5

The junior varsity soccer team ran its record to 2-0 on the season as they defeated the Lincoln Railsplitters in a back and forth battle at John Glenn Soccer Field.  The Rockets saw several players get on the scoreboard and withstood a hard push by Lincoln in the last five minutes to hold on to

Santiago Leads Varsity Soccer To Victory

Carlos Santiago scored two goals and added an assist in a weather shortened victory over Ypsilanti Lincoln High School.  Santiago had several opportunities early in the first half, out running the Railsplitters defense on multiple occasions.  He connected midway through the the score to 3-1 in favor of John Glenn Shortly after the second half

Volleyball Hosting Additional Tryouts

The John Glenn volleyball program will be hosting a second round of tryouts for their freshman and JV squads on Wednesday, August 27 from 2-5 pm in Gym 5.  All interested freshmen and sophomores may attend. Students must have completed the athletic registration and have a sports physical on file in order to try out.
